Community Soup Kitchen
Alpha & Omega’s Community Outreach soup kitchen will provide a nutritious lunch daily for the general public. Congregate meals will be provided at no cost for low-income, homeless individuals and families, and others within the Jackson, MS Metropolitan area. The soup kitchen will also provide home-delivered meals to homebound or disabled seniors within the community.
Food Pantry
The food pantry will be available to pre-screened applicants who meet certain pre-established criteria. However, when necessary, emergency food donations will be considered and decided on a case-by-case basis.
Clothing Closet
Alpha & Omega's clothing closet will be available to people in need of clothing, shoes, and other items. The clothing closet will be overseen by volunteers and others on specific days and times each week.
Chapel services will be held on designated days and times each week. These services will be offered voluntarily, not mandated as a prerequisite for participating in eligible social service programs or for receiving assistance in any form. Services may include prayer, praise and worship, Bible readings, and inspirational messages.
